Quick and Easy Hazelnut Ganache

Calling all Butter Nutter Fans! It's time to get busy in the kitchen with our new Hazelnut Ganache recipe! 


  • 300ml double cream
  • 100g sugar
  • 2 x 90g Hazelnut Butter Nutter bars chopped up into very small pieces
  • 25g Butter chopped into small pieces




1. Put the cream and sugar into a saucepan on medium heat. This should only take a minute.

2. Bring to the boil and then remove the pan from the heat.

3. Quickly stir in the chocolate until it has fully melted into the cream mixture.

4. Whilst continuing to mix, add in the butter a small bit at a time until it has fully melted.

5. You now have a ganache with endless uses. Here are some of our favourite ways to use it:

  • Pour into a pastry case for a quick and impressive looking tart (let set in the fridge for 3 hours after filling)
  • Let the mixture cool for a few hours then put it into a piping bag to swirl over cupcakes
  • Leave to cool for a few hours and dollop a spoonful between two cookies for a delicious sandwich cookie
