Emsworth Cookery School – Chocoholic’s Choice
Just a few miles from us at Chocolate HQ, our friends at the Emsworth Cookery School have been busy creating a cookery class dedicated to working with chocolate and this is what they got up to during their recent class. Here at the Emsworth Cookery School we aim to give you confidence in the kitchen and extend your repertoire. So what better way than to create some luxurious treats and desserts using fabulous Montezuma’s chocolates? We love creating new classes and had a fantastic time coming up with some seriously tasty new recipes for our cooks to enjoy in our class “Chocoholic’s Choice”.
On the day itself, 6 cooks arrived to enjoy a selection of chocolate treats, before kicking off with the first demonstration. The cooks busied themselves creating their own versions of each recipe, as well as doing plenty of tasting as they went along!

Everything the cooks made was carefully packaged up for them to take home and impress their friends and family with – along with the recipe booklet so they can recreate the dishes!
The class was a big hit with the cooks and left me keen to start planning the next one. We’ll be repeating this class later in the year along with a Dark chocolate class, Chocoholic’s Christmas and a Children’s Montezuma’s class in the Summer holidays. About the Emsworth Cookery School
Based in Barbara’s home kitchen, we offer a relaxed environment in which you can learn new techniques and recipes – all of which you can recreate at home to create delicious and nutritious dishes for yourself, family and friends. Every cook will participate in every dish, with demonstrations and help on hand. You will go home with everything you have cooked – minus any inevitable nibbles throughout the day!
We are open to all ages from pre-school and school children through to university students and adults. We are also able to offer bespoke cookery courses, please contact me to see what we can arrange.
Our kitchens are based in Emsworth on the Hampshire – West Sussex border but we also work at various venues across the Southeast, including Southampton, Portsmouth, Chichester and Brighton.
We are very pleased to have been awarded a 5 out of 5 star rating for food hygiene and I have a Level 2 Award in Food Safety in Catering. Additionally I have a full CRB check, completed Safeguarding Training and I have a First Aid in the Workplace certificate.
